Equality Finished

Life at the Center

The project is aimed at all types of people, residents of Gran Canaria Island. On one hand, we will focus on the adult population, offering relevant information about the social implications of gender inequality and its impact on our surroundings. It is necessary for adults to exercise their power as influencers in society, in order to generate a space for debate and reflection on the importance of gender awareness.

Objectives

Offer a space for reflection and participation on the role of women in society and the care of the planet for the creation of a fair and sustainable development model for life, putting care at the center, considering that we are interdependent and ecodependent beings.

Nuestro Plan de Acción

01

Make the importance of gender equality visible

By featuring and showcasing women workshop facilitators, creators, artists... mostly local, who will be responsible for promoting the workshops and activities that will be held during the 'La Vida al Centro' Day.

02

Innovate in the methodology used to contribute to the development of gender equality values

From not only an educational and formal perspective, through workshops, but from diverse areas within leisure, culture, and knowledge, so that it positively impacts the largest number of people possible, thus favoring its social impact.

03

Promote educational workshops and generate spaces for reflection on ecofeminism and equality

Within the university community (among students of Social Work and Social Education, for example) and various social groups. This will positively influence these change agents, generating equality promoters from the different areas in which they operate.

04

Promote the use of social media and new technologies to transmit gender equality values

The Association has a large number of social media followers, and through them we can reach and raise awareness among numerous people, especially young people.
